1/2" -2" cast iron body dry dial multi-jet water
flow meter
Terminology interpretation
A single jet
meter has an operating principle based on the tangential incidence
of a single water jet with a particular turbine. This is mounted inside
the counter body, in a radial position. The rotary motion of the turbine
transmits the necessary motion to the meter. This is what allows the
measurement of the volume of water that is transited through the meter
In the case of a multiple jet
counter, on the other hand, the operating principle is based on a system
that forces the passage of the incoming water through a precise series of open
pipes in a capsule. This represents the distributor, which contains the
turbine inside. The water inlet produces a series of symmetrical jets,
which constantly impact the turbine, which thus remains in equilibrium.
Wet, dry and semi-dry dial counter
The wet
dial counter is
completely immersed in the circulating water. The rollers are instead
contained in a separate and perfectly sealed capsule. The transmission
therefore passes from the turbine to the gears.
The dry
dial counter has a
hermetically sealed meter from the section in which the water flow is
present. This area therefore remains completely dry. Given the
separation, the transmission takes place exclusively through a magnetic
coupling between the same meter making and the turbine.
The semi-dry (or semi-dry) dial counter owes
this definition to the roll chamber filled with liquid, with a section of the
sealed dial, in order to protect from any kind of penetration, of dust, moisture or liquid,
the innermost parts of the system.
Counter with remote reading
The counter
with remote reading uses
a remote control system, which allows to monitor and pilot the technological
installations at a distance in private users. All this makes it possible
to optimize the performance of the systems in the home, increasing both their
safety and efficiency. All this therefore leads to a reduction in costs .
Thanks to the automation of the management, an automatic real-time control of the network is possible , as well as the management of every
necessary maneuver, such as the remote management of alarms for
example. In this way a 24 hour surveillance of the water network and the tanks is guaranteed, also guaranteeing the quality of the water
that is consumed day after day.
Water consumption can be controlled remotely, in order to
make the process easier and the general management more transparent for the
user. In this way it is also possible to view any
losses due to
breakages in parts of the plant in the subsoil or under the flooring.
