Product Introduction
The main component of TBE is Tris-Borate-EDTA, which has strong buffering capacity, is suitable for short periods of time, has high resolution, and has good separation effect when the vision is smaller than 1kb fragments. The boric acid component in TBE buffer will affect DNA recovery efficiency and subsequent enzymatic reactions. If you want to perform agarose gel recovery experiments on DNA fragments, it is recommended to use TAE buffer. This product is a 10× concentrated solution. If the product precipitates out, please set it in a 37°C water bath to dissolve it without affecting use. The main ingredients of the product are 890 mmol/L Tris-boric acid and 20 mmol/L EDTA. After concentrating 10 times with pure water, you can obtain a 1×TBE solution buffer of 89 mM Tris-boric acid, 2 mM EDTA, pH 8.2-8.4@25°C.
