Puer tea cake processing steps are: tea regain, steamed tea, press tea and drying.
Each day process 100kg puer tea, the water content of semifinished tea is 5%, the total processing time is about 8 hours ( not include processing semifinished tea ), the tea cake weight about 125g.
Press one tea cake need about 50 seconds, so you need 1 steaming table ( with 2 station ), 1 steaming machine and 1 press machine ( with 2 station ).

Step 2 : Tea leaves regain

Sprinkle some water ( total about 13kg ) on the tea leaves, let tea leaves water content increase to 16%, now all tea leaves weight about 113kg.
Step 3 : Steamed tea leaves

Weight about 143g steamed tea leaves, put the leaves into cloth bag, and put the cloth bag into the steamed barrel, steamed time about 35 seconds, let the tea leaves water content increase to 19%.

Step 4 : Pressing tea leaves

Put the cloth bag in the mold, and press about 25 seconds, and then take out the tea cake, then drying process.
Traditional method : Put the pressed tea on the racke, time about 5-8 days, the tea cake will be finished.
Modern method : Put the pressed tea in the drying room, keep the temperature about 45℃, take about 20 hours, the tea cake will be finished.
