The 3500 Rack Configuration Software allows the user to program each channel of the 3500/40M to perform the following functions: Radial Vibration, Thrust Position, Differential Expansion, Eccentricity, and REBAM.The monitor channels are set up in pairs and can perform up to two of these functions simultaneously.

Depending on the arrangement, each channel often conditions its input signal into various parameters known as "static values."
