The Allen-Bradley 74101-169-53 is the BDB kit (base driver/power supply board) for the 460 Volts 75 Horsepower rated drives from the Allen-Bradley 1336 PLUS/PLUS II/FORCE/ IMPACT series. Its alternate part number is 1336-BDB-SP29D, which is the successor to the obsolete 1336-BDB-SP29A/1336-BDB-SP29C boards. One 74101-169-53 BDB kit is installed per drive.
Due to the presence of extremely high voltage levels, drive repair/maintenance should only be performed by trained staff, and with the aid of either a service/troubleshooting manual or with manufacturer assistance. To avoid operator injury/death, electrical power to a 1336 PLUS/PLUS II/FORCE/IMPACT drive should be disconnected before the installation or removal of the 74101-169-53 board.
