The 1336-PB-SP2D board is a spare part designed for use with certain adjustable frequency drive series, including models used for torque and speed regulation in industrial machinery. This board functions as a Precharge PCB for the main control boards in these drives, providing an essential layer of protection for the system. Its primary purpose is to safeguard internal components from inrush currents during power-up, ensuring stable operation. High-voltage systems with large capacitive loads can be susceptible to high initial electrical currents, but this board effectively minimizes and limits such currents.
The 1336-PB-SP2D board operates with a rated voltage supply of 460 Volts AC and includes a transient protection MOV capable of handling peak voltages of up to 6000 Volts. It enhances the overall efficiency of the drive system it is connected to, ensuring reliable performance for 3-phase induction motor regulation. The board is powered directly from the drive's main control center and supports a 3-phase system.
