the Allen-Bradley 1734-APB is a communication adapter that is part of the POINT I/O system. It can support different communication protocols, such as PROFIBUS DP, and is designed to enable communication between a POINT I/O rack and a master controller or network. The module is open style and DIN mounted and can be configured to autobaud before use. It is compatible with the 1734-TB, 1734-TBS, 1734-TOP, and 1734-TOPS bases and can support up to 63 modules on the POINTBus.
