This is done with the use of interconnection cables with part number 1746-C9, 1746-C7 and other interconnect cables with varying lengths.

Each chassis requires individual power supply but only one SLC 500 processor is needed.

The SLC 500 1746-A7 Modular Chassis can be used as a standalone unit in one system or can work with another one or two local chassis.
