The 1746-IH16 module is an SLC 500 series input module designed with 16 sinking inputs. It is approved for use in Class 1, Division 2, Groups A, B, C, or D hazardous environments, but can also be used in non-hazardous industrial settings. During normal operation, the module dissipates 5.17 Watts of energy as heat. The module features sinking inputs, with a maximum off-state voltage rating of 20 Volts DC and a maximum off-state current rating of 0.8 milliamps.
