The 1746-ITV16 has a fast ON and OFF signal transition. Specifically, the ON signal delay has a maximum delay of 0.3 ms while the OFF delay has a transition time of 0.50 ms however, the typical signal delay for ON transition is 0.1 ms while the delay for OFF transition is .25 ms at 24VDC operation.
The 1746-ITV16 module is responsible for receiving and storing data in its data image table where he can be retrieved by all modular and fixed SLC 500 processors attached to it. It has removable terminal blocks that eliminate the need to disconnect wires. The 1746-ITV16 also includes filter circuitry and optical coupling for signal noise reduction.
