It has eight non-isolated differential input channels that can be individually selected for voltage or current input. The input signal ranges include -20 to +20 mA or -10 to +10V DC. The module is responsible for receiving and storing analog data in a digital format in its data image table for retrieval by all modular and fixed SLC 500 systems. The 1746-NI8 is a single-slot module that can be either Class 1 or Class 3.
