The Allen-Bradley 1756-L55M13 is a Series A ControlLogix 5555 controller. While this particular controller does not have a nonvolatile memory available, it does have a1.5 Mbytes data and logic memory and 208 kbytes I/O memory available. The 1756-L55M13 controller also has a weight of 0.35 g or 12.5 oz. It does not have an enclosure type rating since it is an open-style controller.




As part of the ControlLogix system, it is used in conjunction with the RSLogix 5000 software and located inside a ControlLogix 1756 chassis. It also has the capacity to support the following communication options: DeviceNet, ControlNet, Ethernet/IP, Universal Remote I/O serial, Data Highway Plus, Modbus via ladder routine, SynchLink, and DH-485.




The 1756-L55M13 has backplane currents of 0.014A at 24V DC and 1.23 A at 5.1V DC. Its thermal dissipation is 19.1 BTU/hr, while its power dissipation is 5.6W. It has a basic insulation type and a continuous isolation voltage of 30V and has also been tested to withstand 707V DC for 60s. The conducted RF immunity of the 1756-L55M13 controller is 10V rms with 1 kHz sine-wave 80%AM from 150 kHz to 80 MHz.




The storage temperature of the controller is between -40 to 85 Degrees Celsius and the operating temperature is between 0 to 60 Degrees Celsius. Relative humidity, which is noncondensing, is from 5% to 95%. It has a vibration of 2 g at 10 to 500 Hz, an operating shock of 30 g, and a non-operating shock of 50 g.
