The Allen-Bradley 1756-OA16 is a 120-240V AC (50-60 Hz) digital output module. It houses 16 mechanically-fused group outputs (8 points per group). The operating voltage range for the 1756-OA16 is 74-265V AC at 47-63 Hz.

The module’s features include individual fault states for each point, Hold the Last State, On-state, Off-state, individual status indications in Program Mode for each point, and mechanically fused groups of outputs. Its output is 3.15A at 250V AC with a slow-blow fuse. Each 1756-OA16 module comes with specific identification information that separates it from other modules. The 1756-OA16 module mounts in a ControlLogix chassis and it uses a 1756-TBNH or 1756-TBSH Removable Terminal Block (RTB) or an Interface Module (IFM) for connecting all the field-side wiring. The 1756-OA16 has no enclosure.

The 1756-OA16’s maximum output current per point is 0.5A and its maximum output current per module is 4A, both at 140oF. It has a maximum power dissipation of 6.5W, also at 140oF. The backplane current is 400 mA at 5V and 2 mA at 24V.
