|
The 1756-OB16IEF module is a CIP Sync slave-only device and it uses the CIP Sync for timestamps and scheduling. As such, another module is needed to act as the master clock of the network. Other features of the 1756-OB16IEF module include configurable point-level output states, output data echo and a diagnostic information latch.
The 1756-OB16IEF is a ControlLogix DC digitally-isolated, fast peer-control output module. The module is electronically fused and protected on a per-point basis, and has 16 individually isolated outputs. The 1756-OB16IEF module responds to commands for system transition in less than 25µS.
