The 1756-PB72 requires a nominal input supply of 24VDC. Once power supply is provided, the module can provide output Currents of 4A at 3.3V; 10A at 5.1V and 2.8 A at 24V.The ControlLogix module with part number 1756-PB72 is a ControlLogix Power Supply. This Power Supply is used to provide power to the backplane which is being distributed across the ControlLogix chassis. It is compatible for installation to any Series A, B and C ControlLogix chassis.

The 1756-PB72 ControlLogix Standard DC Power Supply has a power input of 24V DC. The 1756-PB72 provides built-in overcurrent protection. The power supply also has a type of reinforced insulation tested at 3,500V DC for 60 seconds. The input frequency of the 1756-PB72 power supply is from 47-63 Hz. The surge transient immunity of the 1756-PB72 power supply is +/- 1 kV line-line (DM) and +/- 2 kV line-earth (CM) on signal ports.
