The 1756sc-IF8U is an eight channel universal input module. This module is manufactured by Allen Bradley and is ideal for voltage, current, resistance, RTDs, and Thermocouple input types. It comes with up to eight channels of voltage that supports the above. The 1756sc-IF8U also features a 1000-Volt DC channel-to-backplane isolation that features 1000-Volt DC Channel-to-Chassis ground Isolation. 




The module also comes with 12.5-Volt DC Channel-to-channel isolation. The 1756sc-IF8U is easily configurable through the use of an existing programming software. The module comes with several input noise filtration features, which are selectable on a channel by channel basis, with the ability to customize the installation to ensure a maximum speed with minimal noise levels. 




The 1756sc-IF8U has several enhanced features, which include the 16-21 bit resolution with digital filtering, the ability to support user scaling, time stamping, and alarms. The 1756sc-IF8U comes with reduced system costs for unsurpassed flexibility, provided with a broad variety of input signals that can be applied. Used on systems that require a variety of analog input types, the 1756sc-IF8U has the ability to help users save money on input/output racks, power supplies, and enclosures.




The 1756sc-IF8U comes with state of the art features, such as a producer/consumer networking model. For instance, the 1756sc-IF8U only produces information when necessary,  rather than having to wait for the controller to poll for data. For the 1756sc-IF8U, the communication is usually more efficient with any potential burden on the controller lessened.
