The 1757-SRC3 redundancy module cable does not need any type of ground isolation because it is a fiber-optic interface. It uses only one fiber-optic channel for transmitting and receiving information between the primary and secondary PLCs.
Installing and configuring the redundancy feature in PLC systems is a task that should only be performed by highly trained electrical personnel.This 1757-SRC3 redundancy module cable comes factory-assembled with type ST-type (fiber-optic) connectors on each end that are specifically designed for plugging into the 1757-SRM redundancy module ports.
