The 1762-L24BXBR is a MicroLogix 1200 controller designed with 24 integrated I/O points, featuring a dedicated programming port and a communication interface. This unit’s compact design supports expansion, allowing for the addition of up to six 1762 expansion I/O modules of various types.
The controller can be mounted using either DIN rails or a panel. Panel mounting offers greater resistance to vibration, while the compact design minimizes space requirements, needing only 500 mm or 2 inches of clearance on all sides for proper installation.
The 1762-L24BXBR includes a diverse array of embedded I/O options: ten 24VDC sink/source inputs, four fast 24VDC inputs, five relay outputs, four 24VDC FET outputs, and one high-speed 24VDC FET output. Inputs 0-3 accept signals with frequencies from 0-20 kHz, while inputs 4 and higher process signals at frequencies from 0-1 kHz, depending on the system scan time. The controller also features two trim potentiometers, which can be used for adjusting internal registers and implementing local control functionalities.
This unit is equipped with two communication interfaces: one dedicated programming port on the side and a primary communication port on the front panel. Both interfaces use 8-pin mini-DIN connectors. The primary port facilitates connections with visualization devices, as well as operations like uploading, downloading, commissioning, and online programming.
