|
The 1764-MM1 is attached to the processor unit to provide safety/security for press control applications and other critical applications, and for auto-recovery of the controller’s program data, in the event of power failure leading to controller fault. The memory module also helps to compare programs in the controller’s processor, and it provides write-protection to the controller’s program data. It has a battery-backed memory capacity of 8 KB, with 5 years minimum of battery lifespan at 40°C, and it can be attached and removed with ease, while the controller is still operating.
The 1764-MM1 compares with an compact and portable assembly with integrated memory amounting to 8 Kilo Bytes. This memory module permits saving of user program, perform Data Back-Up, perform Program Compare, implement Data File Download Protection and Memory Module Write Protection.
