The 1768-L45 Compact Logix controller by Allen-Bradley offers solutions for control applications with motion, I/O, and network demands. It has 4 available slots for module support and can support four 1768 backplane modules. It supports a 1768 backplane current of 2.0 Amps at 24 Volts, and a 1769 backplane output current of 2.0 Amps at 5.7 Volts. The 1768-L45 also provides a 1768 backplane output current of 5.6 Amps at 5 Volts, and in total it provides 1768 and 1769 backplane current of 7.6 Amps at 5.2 Volts. It dissipates 9.5W along it circuit and a power consumption of 50.4W.

The 1768-L45 can support a maximum of thirty 1769 I/O modules which can reside in 3 local I/O module banks.
