The 1785-L40B is a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) component. This product is a Controller that belongs to the PLC5 product family. This controller is also built with Four (4) DH+ or Remote I/O (Adapter or Scanner) combination port, One (1) serial port, configurable for RS-232 and 423 and RS-422A communication standards.
Each of the combination port may be used with separate networks, allowing the controller to implement Four (4) independent DH+ / RIO networks. The serial communication channel allows point-to-point interface which is also ideally used for short distance communication.
