The 1794-AENTR is directly mounted to a DIN rail. Inspect installation point for excessive vibration and shock. Operating vibration and shock acceptable for the module is 5g and 30g respectively. An external power supply with nominal supply voltage of 24VDC must be connected to the power terminals of the 1794-AENTR to energize the module. Acceptable voltage supply range is 19.2…31.2V DC, including 5% AC ripple.
Conductor wire size recommended when establishing connections to the module is 0.33...3.31 sq. mm or 22...12 AWG, stranded copper wire with insulation rating of 75 °C or 167 °F or higher and maximum insulation thickness of 1.2 mm or 3/64 in.The module 1794-AENTR is a component module of the Flex I/O product family. This module is a redundant Ethernet communication adapter, typically used to implement high-availability Ethernet network as it supports implementation of Device Level Ring (DLR) topology.
