The 1794-IE12 are compatible with input signal types such as 4 to 20 mA or 0 to 20 mA. The module has a nominal external DC supply current of 30 mA at 24 Volts DC, one of 45 mA at 10 Volts DC, and a 60 mA certification. It also has a maximum input overload of 30 Volts or 32 mA, both continuous and for one channel at a time.

This module is primarily used to interface analog devices such as Transmitters, indicators, recorders, single-loop and multi-loop controllers and other devices.The 1794-IE12’s power dissipation is 1.2 W at 31.2 Volts DC and its thermal dissipation is 4.1 BTU/hour at 31.2 Volts DC as well.
