About product:
The 1794-IP4 is a Pulse Counter Module designed for high-speed calculation and scaling in industrial applications such as speed measurement, quantity counting, and flow monitoring. The module requires an input signal with a 6V amplitude from all connected input devices. For the input to register as "On," a minimum voltage of 6V is required, while the "Off" condition occurs when the voltage is below 3V. It is crucial that the input signals transition smoothly between 3V and 6V, as improper transitions may affect the module's operation.
This module is commonly used in flow and turbine metering applications across industries such as automotive, power management, food and beverage, as well as oil and gas. The 1794-IP4 features 4 pulse counter inputs, divided into two groups of two inputs each. It supports a maximum counting frequency of 100 kHz. The module operates with a nominal external DC supply current of 150mA at 12V DC and 75mA at 24V DC.
