The 2080-IF4 module is a 4-channel, non-isolated, unipolar voltage/current analog input plug-in module. It is designed to be used with the Micro820, Micro830, and Micro850 series controllers, extending their I/O functionality without requiring additional rack space.
Each channel of the 2080-IF4 can be configured for unipolar voltage or current input, with the option to disable any unused channel. The analog input range for voltage mode is from 0 to 10 Volts, while for current mode, it ranges from 4 to 20 mA, all with a 12-bit resolution. This allows for precise measurement, with voltage inputs measurable down to 2.44 mV and current inputs down to 0.0049 mA. The module is capable of interfacing with various sensors, devices, and current-loop transmitters, making it ideal for Closed Loop Control Systems, such as regulatory PID control systems, used in industries like chemical processing, oil & gas, and motion control.
The recommended operating temperature range for the 2080-IF4 module is from -20°C to 65°C (-4°F to 149°F).
