The 2711P-RP8D is powered by an external 24VDC supply voltage with a power dissipation of 70 Watts. It is installed at the back of the display module and connects the latter via the embedded PCI slot. The 2711P-RP8D logic module by is a module in the PanelView Plus 6 series. It supports the PanelView terminals without extended features.

It is a 24 Volt DC input module with 512 MB of storage memory for data and application storage.The module also uses the Ethernet protocol for enhanced network capability, and like other PanelView Plus 6 terminals, the 2711P-RP8D uses a standard Ethernet cable for applications, and data transfers between a computer and the PanelView Plus 6 (700 to 1500) terminal.
