Working Principle:
The pressure difference between the boiling film and the condensation surface is the driving force of the steam flow, and the small pressure drop can cause the steam to flow. Operating under 1mbar requires a very short distance between the boiling surface and the condensation surface, and the distillation based on this principle is called a short-range distillation. Short-range distillation (molecular distillation) a built-in condenser is opposite the heating surface and the operating pressure is reduced to 0.001mbar.
