The 3300 XL probe, extension cable, and Proximitor sensor are equipped with corrosion-resistant, gold-plated ClickLoc connectors, which only require finger-tight torque to secure (the connectors "click" when tight). These connectors feature a specially-engineered locking mechanism that prevents loosening, and they require no special tools for installation or removal. Additionally, the 3300 XL probe and extension cable incorporate improvements over previous designs. The patented TipLoc molding method ensures a stronger bond between the probe tip and body, while the patented CableLoc design provides 330 N (75 lbf) pull strength, ensuring a secure connection between the probe cable and probe tip.
