The 3300 XL probe and extension cable incorporate several key improvements over previous designs, ensuring greater durability and reliability. One notable enhancement is the use of a patented TipLoc™ molding method, which creates a stronger, more secure bond between the probe tip and the probe body, improving the overall robustness of the system.
Additionally, the probe’s cable features an innovative CableLoc™ design, which provides an impressive 330 N (75 lbf) pull strength at the connection point where the cable attaches to the probe tip. This enhanced attachment ensures a more secure and reliable connection, reducing the risk of cable-related failures.
For environments where exposure to liquids is a concern, the 3300 XL 8 mm probes and extension cables can be ordered with an optional FluidLoc® cable. This specialized cable option prevents the leakage of oil or other liquids through the cable’s interior, offering an extra layer of protection in industrial applications where liquid ingress could pose a risk. These design advancements ensure the 3300 XL probe and its accessories maintain high performance and reliability in challenging environments.
