The 3300 XL probe, extension cable, and Proximitor sensor are equipped with corrosion-resistant, gold-plated ClickLoc connectors, which require only finger-tight torque. These connectors will "click" when properly tightened and feature a specially-engineered locking mechanism to prevent loosening. No special tools are needed for installation or removal. The 3300 XL design also incorporates improvements over previous models, including a patented TipLoc molding method that creates a stronger bond between the probe tip and body. Additionally, the probe’s cable features a patented CableLoc design, providing a 330 N (75 lbf) pull strength to ensure a secure connection between the probe cable and tip.
