Temperature Range: The system can operate in a temperature range from -35°C to +260°C (-31°F to +500°F) during monitoring, while the preamplifier and extension cables are rated for 0°C to +45°C (32°F to 113°F).
Accuracy Specifications: The ISF (Inductive Sensing Factor) remains consistent at 7.87V/mm (200 mV/mil) within an accuracy tolerance of ±18%. The DSL (Dynamic Sensor Length) is guaranteed to be ±0.152mm (±6 mil).

Target Surface Size: The system requires a minimum target surface diameter of 15.2mm (0.6 inches), and for optimal performance, the shaft diameter should be at least 50.8mm (2 inches), with 76.2mm (3 inches) being the recommended minimum.


Sensor Installation Guidelines:
Sensor Placement: When the sensor is installed on an axis, especially close to bearing vibration or connection structures, there is a risk of electromagnetic field interference, which could cause reading errors. This is particularly a concern when the shaft diameter is less than 50mm (2 inches).
This setup ensures the 3300 XL preprocessor and associated system components provide reliable monitoring, with attention to environmental and operational factors like temperature and sensor placement to maintain accuracy.
