About product:
The 5069-OB8 is a high-current output module from the Compact 5000 I/O series. This module provides significantly higher current output ratings, delivering 2 A per channel, 4 A per group, and 8 A per module. It is equipped with surge current protection, rated at 4 A, which is capable of handling up to 10 ms per point, repeatable every 2 seconds.
With eight output channels, the module is divided into two groups of four channels each. The output voltage range is 10-32VDC, and it operates with a MOD power rating of 75 mA at 18-32V DC. The maximum MOD power passthrough is 9.55 A at 18-32V DC, with LA Power ratings of 2 A per channel, 8 A per group, and 16 A per module, all within the 10-32V DC range. The SA power passthrough is rated for 9.95 A at the same voltage range. Notably, this module does not draw current from the SA Power bus.
The module’s maximum power dissipation is 3.2 W, and it has a maximum thermal dissipation of 10.9 BTU/hr. It also features an isolation voltage rating of 250V (continuous), with a basic insulation type, and is tested at 1800V AC for 60 seconds. However, there is no isolation between LA power, output points, or individual channels.
