Usage:
CAPS buffer is used extensively in Western and immunoblotting experiments as well as protein sequencing and identification. CAPS is used in the electrotransfer of proteins to PVDF or nitrocellulose membranes. CAPS should be used to transfer proteins with a pl > 8.5 because of its high pH.
