Ericsson Baseband 6648, the newest member of Ericsson's RAN computing portfolio,
became commercially available in May. As the next generation of LTE and New Radio (NR) basebands, it has three times the capacity of existing Ericsson basebands and is proven to be industry leading in energy efficiency.
