The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 1336S-BRF10-AA-EN drive is an AC motor drive. The drive has a NEMA Type 1 rated enclosure. The controller interfaces with the users by using a human-machine interface (HMI) module. The module is visible from the front part of the drive. To enable full control of the 1336S-BRF10-AA-EN drive, the human-machine interface module has a display panel and a control panel. While both are on the same module, they provide different functions. For example, the display panel facilitates programming and the viewing of the parameters. The control panel provides control of different controller functions. In addition to a controller-mounted human-machine interface module, the Allen-Bradley 1336S-BRF10-AA-EN drive also supports a handheld human-machine interface module. The difference between the 2 is that a handheld HMI can be connected and disconnected when the drive is still running. For the onboard HMI, disconnecting it when the drive is still running will lead to a fault. Additionally, the onboard HMI cannot be connected when the 1336S-BRF10-AA-EN drive is running due to the risk of an electric shock. Note that a handheld HMI can only be a maximum of 33 feet away from the 1336S-BRF10-AA-EN drive. The Allen-Bradley 1336S-BRF10-AA-EN drive has an input voltage rating of between 380 Volts AC and 480 Volts AC. Additionally, the controller can be operated with a DC input voltage which stands between 513 Volts DC and 620 Volts DC. The 1336S-BRF10-AA-EN drive supports programming in English and it has an IP20 rated enclosure. The drive belongs to the Allen-Bradley 1336 PLUS family of variable speed drives.
