The Allen-Bradley 1762-L40BXBR is a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) that is part of the MicroLogix 1200 controller family. This controller has a total of 40 I/O channels, specifically Twenty (20) 24VDC sink / source inputs, Four (4) fast 24VDC inputs, Eight (8) relay, Seven (7) 24VDC FET and One (1) High-speed 24VDC FET outputs. Additionally, it has Two (2) Trim Potentiometers that may be configured to modify internal and memory registers for simulation and control purposes.
The 1762-L40BXBR has a compact assembly that supports installation of up to Six (6) 1762 expansion I/O modules. This controller also comes with Two (2) communication ports particularly One (1) programming port and One (1) primary communication interface. The primary communication interface may be used for interfacing with Human Machine Interface (HMI), Supervisory and Control Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, gateways, converters and Intelligent Electronic Devices (IED).
