About 2098-DSD-HV030-SE
The 2098-DSD-HV030-SE is a Digital Servo Drive (DSD) by Allen-Bradley. This electronic, programmable device is part of the Ultra 3000 Series of Kinetix Motion Control systems. This servo drive module is used to provide interface for motion control commands and direct connection to the servo motor for implementing a closed-loop motion, digitally controlled motion control system.
The 2098-DSD-HV030-SE becomes operable when provided with an supply input voltage of 230 Volts AC - 480 Volts AC, 3-phase, along an input frequency of 47-63 Hertz. This drive has main input circuitry and auxiliary input circuitry that requires different input current ratings. For the drive’s main circuitry, it requires 4 Amperes @ 460 Volts AC rms, nominal and 460 Volts AC rms, maximum inrush of 6 Amperes. The auxiliary circuitry input current includes 0.55 Amperes @ 230 Volts AC rms, nominal; 0.35 Amperes @ 360 Volts AC rms, nominal; 0.25 Amperes @ 480 Volts AC rms, nominal. This servo drive is capable of providing a continuous output current of 7 Amperes and an intermittent output current of 14 Amperes while the continuous output power are 1.5 Kilowatts for 230 Volts AC input and 3.0 Kilowatts 460 Volts AC input.
The 2098-DSD-HV030-SE comes with a variety of terminal strips and connection interfaces mounted on the drive’s front panel. Terminal strip TB1 is used for termination of DC+ and DC- voltages; 3-Phase motor power connections; AC input power connections and auxiliary power connections. A cable shield clamp is located just below this terminal strip for clamping of shield cable. It also has TB2 terminal strip for installation of external passive shunt components. It also hosts the CN1 interface which are the terminals of the Normally Open (N.O.) contacts that can be used for energizing an external Start/Stop circuitry.
