88UB01B GJR2322600R0100 Selection Module
The 88UB01B is a Selection Module, manufactured and designed by ABB as part of the P14 Series used in the ABB PROCONTROL P system.
The selection module for remote bus operation is used within the PROCONTROL monitoring station.
It serves to select the different operating modes which are possible within the two-fold redundant PROCONTROL bus system.
In the PROCONTROL bus system, two redundant remote bus systems A and B and two associated master stations are provided. For each system cycle, however, data exchange is only carried out via one remote bus system. Therefore, different operating modes result for the complete system.
Features
Two light-emitting diodes and a key-operated switch are provided at the front of the module.
The light-emitting diodes indicate on which remote bus system the data exchange is just being carried out.
With the key-operated switch, the up to 4 operating modes of the PRCONTROL bus system can be selected.
The module itself does not contain any electronic equipment, but only a connector via which it is connected with the coupling modules for monitoring station 88 VU01 in both master stations.
