The CPU86-NDP card has its own +5 V voltage monitoring, which as voltage decreaseless than +4.6 V prevents memory and calendar circuit from working. The purpose of the circuit is to prevent the loss of the calendar circuit and any battery-backed content that may be usein the event of a voltage failure.
