The Allen-Bradley 1734-IT2I is a POINT I/O Analog Temperature Input Module. It has 2 Thermocouple Inputs and a Resolution of 15 bits with an Input Voltage of 75 mV.

 

The Allen-Bradley 1734-IT2I is a POINT isolated analog temperature input module. Two differential individually-isolated thermocouple inputs are available with this module. Eight bytes of scanner data (scanner Rx) and fault status data can be produced without consuming I/O data (scanner Tx). Status indicators let the users monitor the network status, module status, the status of input 0, and the status of input 1 in real time. The 1734-IT2I comes with a resolution of 15 bits at 2.5 µV/cnt. No external DC power supply is necessary, but the 1734-IT2I can only be installed to the 1734-TBCJC wiring base assembly. The 1734-IT2I measures 2.21 x 0.47 x 2.97 inches and it weighs 0.08 pounds or 0.036 kilograms. It has an open-style enclosure.

 

it has signed integer data formats with 4 temperature scales, Celsius, Fahrenheit, Kelvin, and Rankine, and 1 mV custom scale are available with the 1734-IT2I module and its conversion type is Delta Sigma. It also features alarms for conditions including under-range, over-range, cold junction compensation (CJC) open-wire detection, and level (low-low, low, high, high-high). The input voltage of the 1734-IT2I is +/- 75 mV, the voltage rating is 24 Volts DC, and the POINTbus current is 175 mA at 5 Volts DC. It has an impedance of 100 kiloohms and a resistance of 1 megaohm. It has a maximum power dissipation of 1 Watt and a maximum thermal dissipation of 3.3 BTU/hour. The continuous isolation voltage is 50 Volts, the operating temperature is -20 to 55 degrees Celsius, and the storage temperature is -4 to 85 degrees Celsius. The 1734-IT2I has a non-condensing relative humidity of 5 to 95% and an operating vibration of 5 g at 10 to 500 Hertz. The operating shock is 30 g and the non-operating shock is 50 g.
