The 1747-L541 is a controller module for the SLC 500 Modular Hardware by Allen-Bradley. It comes with Memory or 32 KB, and built-in communication interfaces such as 9-Pin RS-232 and Data Highway Plus (DH+).When installing the 1747-L542, care should be taken to never connect or disconnect any module with the power applied. Electrostatic charges should also be considered as they can damage the on-board memory. The 1747-L542 must be inserted into the left slot (slot 0) on the chassis to function properly.
