The Allen Bradley 1747-SDN is DeviceNet scanner module. It is compatible with the SLC-5/02, SLC-5/03, SLC-5/04, and SLC-5/05 processors of the SLC 500 series. The 1747-SDN DeviceNet scanner module lets you connect low-level devices straight to the plant floor. The need of incorporating an I/O interface device is eliminated.the 1747-SDN interfaces DeviceNet devices with SLC-5/02 or higher processors. Over the network, the 1747-SDN reads and or writes data to DeviceNet devices, downloads configuration data, and monitors the operational status of devices.
