The 1756-CN2 ControlNet Communication Bridge Module by Allen-Bradley is a communication module for ControlLogix devices. It offers the ControlNet Network and uses the CIP and the P2P network for high-speed performance. It uses a standard configuration with a 5Mbps communication speed and has a communication capacity of up to 100 Logix connections.
The 1756-CN2 can also support a maximum of 128 connections with 99 redistribution points (nodes). It has an electrical rating of 1100mA draw current at 5.1V DC and one of 3.0A at 24V DC and it has an operational power dissipation of 5.6W, with a thermal dissipation of 19.1 BTU/hr.
