The 1756-L63 is a processor module and controller for the ControlLogix platform which is manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. The processor comes in Series A and Series B, and it has the capability to complete 100 programs per task, perform 32 individual tasks, and complete event tasks for all event triggers. The 1756-L63 has a current draw of 1200 mA at 5.1 Volts DC, and a draw of 14 mA at 24 Volts DC. When it comes to communication, the 1756-L63 comes with a built-in RS-132 port, though the controller features other communication modules such as the ControlNet, SynchLink, and the Data Highway Plus modules to name a few.
