The Allen-Bradley 1756-M16SE is a 16-axis SERCOS interface module for ControlLogix systems. It is compatible with Kinetix drives including the 2098 Ultra3000 SERCOS drive and the 2099 Kinetix 7000 drive. SERCOS modules communicate with drives via a fiber-optic cable.The 1756-M16SE takes up one slot in the I/O chassis. It is recommended to either remove the chassis power or to ensure that the working area is non-hazardous before removing or installing the module in the chassis. The maximum power dissipated by the 1756-M16SE is 5.0 Watts.
