The 1771-NT2 is a high-resolution thermocouple input module by Allen-Bradley. The module has 8 mV/TC inputs and it occupies a single slot in the 1771 Input/Output chassis. The module is used to interface the PLC-3 or PLC-5 family of controllers which have block transfer capabilities since the 1771-NT2 uses block transfer to read or write data.The 1771-NT2 module has an under/overrange threshold of -5.5 and +/-56 millivolts respectively. Also, the 1771-NT2 has a minimum rate alarm value at 0.04% FSR of 24uV/0.9 degrees Celsius per second with a maximum RAV of 30mV/1050 degrees Celsius per second at a 50% full-scale range.
