The 1785-V80B is a 1785-V Series PLC-5/V80 VME programmable processor manufactured by Allen-Bradley. The 1785-V80B is a programmable processor which brings the technology of the 1785 PLC-5 processor to the VMEbus environment. It features an extended local I/O scan time per rack of 0.5 milliseconds.To use the 1785-V80B processor as a remote I/O scanner, first, configure the remote I/O channel into the scanning mode to read and write I/O information between the 1785-V80B programmable processor and an I/O device that is remotely located from the controller.
