The Allen-Bradley 2094-AM01-S is a safety drive that boosts machine productivity, reduces downtime, and provides protection for both equipment and user. This AM module is part of the Kinetix 6000 multi-axis servo drive series. It has a single wide slot usage and comes with a nominal 1.9 kW continuous power output, 230 V voltage rating, and 9 A INV continuous current (RMS). The embedded safe torque-off functionality is a standard feature of the 2094-AM01 and other safety drives. This feature has a response time of less than 25 milliseconds. It works by disabling the power-transistor control signals when the circuit is tripped. In this condition (stop category 0), the motor torque is stopped without shutting off the entire machine.
The 2094-AM01-S servo drive has a maximum operational temperature of 50 degrees Celsius (122 degrees Fahrenheit) and it comes with a short-circuit current rating of 200,000 Amps (RMS) symmetrical. Up to 7 2094-AM01 modules can be mounted on an 8-axis power rail, following the IAM module setup at the leftmost slot. Mount the IPIM and axis modules from highest to lowest (left to right) according to their power utilization. Power utilization, measured in kW, is the continuous power value for each module.
