The Allen-Bradley 25B-D2P3N104 is a PowerFlex 525 Variable Frequency Drive (VFD). This VFD is powered with an input voltage range of 323-528VAC, 3-phase with applicable motor output 2.3 A and Power of 0.75 kW (1.0 HP) for normal duty and Heavy duty operation.

The 25B-D2P3N104 is an Allen-Bradley PowerFlex 525 Adjustable Frequency Drives. This drive is an industrial electronic equipment used for implementing modulating speed control of AC motors, used virtually in any existing industry.

The 25B-D2P3N104 is a Frame A drive, supporting DIN Rail or Panel Mounted installation and arranged via zero stacking installation. It supports Vertical mounting as well as horizontal with a cooling fan required. The enclosure of this drive is an IP20 / NEMA Open Type enclosure with 50 °C (122 °F) without derating.

This drive features a wide variety of control method selections which are fully programmable. These control methods includes Sinusoidal PWM, Volts/Hertz, Sensorless Vector Control, Economizer SVC motor control, Closed Loop Velocity Vector Control, Surface Mount and Interior Permanent Magnet Motor (without encoder), Interior Permanent Magnet Motor (with encoder).

The drive’s performance ratings include ±1% of base speed across a 60:1 speed range for Volts / Hertz control, ±0.5% of base speed across a 100:1 speed range for Sensorless Vector Control, ±0.5% of base speed across a 100:1 speed range for SVC economizer, ±0.5% of base speed across a 60:1 speed range vor Velocity Vector Control (VVC) and ±0.5% of base speed, up to a 20:1 speed range for Permanent Magnet (PM motors).

When used with encoders, the drive performance increases specifically ±0.1% of base speed across a 100:1 speed range for SVC (Sensorless Vector), ±0.1% of base speed across a 100:1 speed range for SVC Economizer, ±0.1% of base speed across a 1000:1 speed range for VVC (Velocity Vector Control) and ±0.1% of base speed, up to a 60:1 speed range for PM Motor.

This drive has an input voltage range of 380 to 480 Volts AC, 3-phase, 47 to 63 Hertz frequency, and its output voltage ranges between 0 and 460 Volts AC, 3-phase. Its power rating is 0.75 kilowatts, 1 Horsepower, 2.3 Amps, and 37.0 total watts loss. It has a 12 Volts/250 milliamps incremental/dual channel encoder and an A-frame.

The 25B-D2P3N104 PowerFlex drive incorporates some state-of-the-art speed, torque, braking, and position control technologies that make it suitable for use with a wide array of motors in different industrial environments. All PowerFlex 525 drives, including the 25B-D2P3N104 PowerFlex drive, provide space-saving and cost-effective motor control solutions for multipurpose applications and it can be easily used for standalone machines or integrated into already existing speed control systems. It features a detachable power module and detachable standard control module to reduce installation/configuration time by allowing simultaneous configuration and installation.

The 25B-D2P3N104 PowerFlex drive features an integral RS4/DSI communications card and it can also be configured through its Embedded EtherNet/IP port. Its Device Level Ring (DLR) topologies make it capable of tolerating different faults without difficulty. Advanced inertia ride through significantly reduces the impact of low voltage on the drive and it allows it to be safely operated in low-voltage conditions. Instantaneous fault trip, ground fault trip, and electronic motor overload protection are some of the safety features provided by the 25B-D2P3N104 PowerFlex drive. It can be operated at altitudes of up to 1000 meters without derating or 4000 meters with some derating.
