Ethernet may be used in distances not exceeding 100 meters however, it can be easily extended using Ethernet switches or Fiber Optic converter. It supports 10/100 Mbps transmission speed with auto-negotiation capability.

The PanelView Plus 7 Performance terminal has 512 MB RAM and 512 MB storage and 80 MB nonvolatile storage for applications.
